Customs and traditions :
Kuwaiti society is characterized by
the gathering of family, neighbors and friends, and there are a lot of events
that are celebrated together such as:
"Nasvoh" : an occasion where sweets were distributed to children, where the
kids come out to the house and sing songs and this event be in the night half of Sha'ban .
“Noon” : a simple occasion including the emergence of the first age of the
child or the child's first walk signs. Usually held "Nun" in the
afternoon and receives the children, relatives and neighbors. Mother carpet
carpeted front of the house and then go to the roof of the house, carrying a
basket containing sweets, which received the audience. The children collected
and carry on the outskirts of their clothes, while their mothers preparing
dishes from the "Noon."
“Dak El-Harees” : mash wheat is milled grain in preparation for the holy month of
Ramadan . The family bought large amounts of grain, and then calls a team of
specialists to grind wheat grains as they perform expressive movements to the
tune of songs performed by one of the women's teams.
